About Southern Cross & CEO/COO
Mike Waggoner
Founded in the spring of 2024 by Mike Waggoner, Southern Cross Specialty Contractors, LLC has been a dream and vision 40 plus years in the making. Having started in the trades back in 1982, Mike has continued to learn, grow, and execute as a professional in every season of his career. From his electrical apprenticeship and first decade in Florida as a residential electrician, to his segue into the commercial electrical construction arena in the early 90's, to becoming a multi-state licensed unlimited electrical contractor in 1996 and a licensed unlimited general contractor in 2008. To becoming an NCCER certified electrical craft instructor who has been actively involved in teaching in the electrical apprenticeship program, contractor licensing and continuing education system, and raising up the next generation of professional tradesmen and women for almost a decade now.
Our objective is simply to provide professional contracting services while honoring God, family, and country in everything we do.
